Leonard Weeks, born in England about 1654, died in Greenland 1707. Had seven children.
Joshua Weeks, his fourth child, born 30th June, 1674, was
father of Dr. John Weeks of Hampton, N.H., who married Martha Wingate.
Ward Cotton was his eighth child, baptized July, 1753; died on board ship at Cape Francis 8th June, 1780, was our great-grandfather
John W. Weeks, his son, died May 1st, 1865, aged eighty-seven, was our grandfather
Our father, John, was his son, died February 22, 1882 aged seventy-six.
James L. Weeks, born March, 1842. Died Jan 29, 1923 81 years old.
